Friday, January 20, 2012 - 20/366
Thank god for Fridays.. Woke up in a decent mood and got ready for school. Once I got to school, ran into ‘bunny’ and he walked me to my locker. Gave him a bag of cough drops as his little surprise ( which was already ruined because he made me tell him last night -__- ) and then just hung out until class started. School went by at a decent pace. We were on assembly schedule so classes were shorter anyway. First - third period was the usual, nothing special or new. Fourth period we did this disgusting lab about extracting DNA from peas and strawberries.. I was just one more glance away from throwing up. Shit was gross af. Then, we headed to the assembly. I basically sat in the middle of this big group of freshmen basketball players haha. It was fun though, I’m not gonna lie. Lunch was the usual, Tiff and I hung out with Steven and Brian which is always pretty fun. Fifth was the usual and sixth was a free day so I spent most of the period preppering with Erika.
After school, got boba with Tiff and headed back to school for the basketball games. They were all pretty good games I guess haha. To be honest I can’t really remember anything besides girls and guys varsity.. We had that shit too -__- Went from being in the lead to tied in matter of minutes.. and then tied to losing by two in literally a matter of seconds. All good though, you win some and lose some. They all played really well though, so hopefully they aren’t too disappointed. After the game, chilled for a bit and then left. I just came home from getting yogurt with my sister so probably going to lounge around for a bit before I go to bed as usual.
I’m so glad it’s finally the weekend.. This has seriously been the shittiest week and I definitely was not looking forward to another day of school. Plus, Sunday is our family party for the new year! It’s family tradition to go so I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I feel like I haven’t seen my cousins in ages and I definitely miss them. All in all, this week has been exhausting and I’m glad I finally have some time to myself. Although, I will say that even though it’s been a bad week, I do owe it to Steven and Brian for turning all my bad days around and making sure I left school with a smile on my face.
